Emily Milholen McCord

Emily Milholen McCord has extensive experience working with corporate clients to
manage tort and commercial litigation matters, develop compliance programs and
provide business operations and asset protection guidance and counsel. She assists
clients in the development of new business strategies to ensure best practices and legal
compliance and regularly counsels clients on the creation, enhancement,
implementation and assessment of compliance programs. Emily routinely advises
corporate clients on government and internal investigations, corporate compliance and
training and communication strategies related to high-profile litigation, crisis
management and reputational risk matters. Emily is also actively involved in
representing the firm’s clients in very complex medical malpractice defense litigation.
She also routinely assists clients in managing complex construction and contract
disputes.

Emily has worked both in private practice settings and as senior counsel for a Fortune 1
company, the latter of which involved managing 250-300 tort litigation matters; providing
legal support for operations and asset protection; developing new business strategies to
promote best practices and legal compliance; developing legal guidance and corporate communication strategies, responses to crisis situations, and proactive media/digital
media/social media campaigns; managing corporate responses to civil investigative
demands, government, commercial, and HIPAA related subpoenas; and much more.

Emily is actively involved in the Northwest Arkansas community, serving on the
Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter Board of Directors, church council at Central
United Methodist Church in Rogers and Breakthrough T1D Northwest Arkansas.
